Principal Message - September 3

Dear McKinley Families,

Last week we had our Back to School Night via zoom!  Please check out the McKinley Back to School Night website for principal and teacher presentations. The principal presentation reviews how to be involved at McKinley.  We have three parent organizations: School Site Council (SSC), English Language Advisory Council (ELAC), and Parent Teacher Association (PTA).  

School Site Council Officials make decisions about the school budget and receive all up-to-date information about the school.  ELAC is a committee of parents that advocates for Emergent Multilingual Learners and gives recommendations to School Site Council.  We need leaders for both committees.   Included in this message are nomination forms to serve on the School Site Council and English Language Advisory Council.  

Parent Teacher Association nominations will be discussed at the PTA meeting September 29 at 6PM.

We need parent leaders to support our students!
