Thank you for a wonderful first week of school! We loved seeing our students in their classrooms with their teachers. So much learning is already happening!
SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR TK AND KINDER FAMILIES
I understand that kindergarten and TK scheduling have been very confusing. August 23 and 24 are still minimum days for kindergarten. This is for parent-teacher conferences. Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 11:45AM for both of those days. On August 25, TK and kinder students will be dismissed at 12:55. This will be the kindergarten dismissal time on all Wednesdays except for conference week. On August 26 and August 27, kindergarten will be dismissed at 1:40PM. 1:40PM will be the dismissal time on all days except for Wednesdays which is 12:55.
MCKINLEY TSHIRTS
Our staff wants to partner with parents to meet a BIG goal - MCKINLEY T-SHIRTS! A meeting will be organized soon to see what we need to do to get McKinley apparel for our school community.
CAMPUS SAFETY
We appreciate our families being able to walk their children to get scanned and helping us make sure our students are safe. Our parking spaces are very limited with only four spots available for visitors. All other parking spaces are designated for staff. We thank you in advance for keeping this in mind when dropping off students.
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT
We will be hosting Back to School Night in person and on campus Aug 31, 2021 from 6PM-7:30PM. You may meet your child’s teacher outside of their classroom. All activities will be outside due to COVID safety procedures. We encourage all visitors to wear a mask due to the number of students, staff, and visitors we will have on campus.
