The McKinley Elementary library is a safe place where students, staff, and families are invited to relax, read, and explore. There are only three rules: Be Kind, Be Respectful, and Read Every Day!

Students come to the library with their classes once a week for 30 minutes to read, check out books, and learn to use other library resources. All students are also welcome to come to the library before school and during lunch recess.

Lost Books:

If a book is lost, it needs to be replaced. You may either submit payment to the library, or you may work with the librarian to purchase a new book for the library from Amazon. This is often cheaper than ordering new books through the school district. Donations will not be accepted in place of lost materials.

Hardcover books are typically $20 and paperbacks are $10.
